As Founder and Director at Shorebreak Finance, Ron bring’s 20 years of experience in retail, executive management, and finance to deliver clear, strategic lending advice tailored to each client’s unique goals. With a degree in accounting and a strong commercial background, he helps clients navigate complex financial decisions with confidence and clarity.

Today, Ron draws on his experience as a senior executive in a global retail giant—along with my personal journey as a property investor—to guide clients through every stage of the property and finance process, whether they’re purchasing their first home, refinancing, or expanding an investment portfolio. As an investor himself, he understands the importance of structuring finance strategically to support long-term growth and wealth creation. He takes a practical, straight-talking approach to lending, always focused on finding the best outcomes for our clients.

Outside of work, he’s a passionate sports fan—especially football (a proud Liverpool FC supporter) and Formula 1—and he’s always keeping an eye on the shifting finance landscape to stay ahead of the curve.

As General Manager at Shorebreak Finance, Rachel combines a strong foundation in executive leadership, operations, and client service to ensure a seamless and strategic experience for every client. Her background includes over 15 years of leadership across high-performance environments, most recently as an executive leader in the sports industry, where she developed a deep understanding of strategy, people, and performance under pressure.

She is passionate about building systems and processes that make the lending journey clear and stress-free—from first contact to post-settlement support. At Shorebreak, we are a purpose-driven team focused on empowering our clients with knowledge, tailored solutions, and long-term support.

Rachel is proud to live and work in a regional community she genuinely cares about. Outside of Shorebreak, she brings her lifelong involvement in equestrian sports into daily life and is currently completing an MBA to further strengthen the strategic and financial capabilities brought to the business.

Chris Perre is a dedicated Mortgage and Finance Broker at Shorebreak Finance, bringing over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting to the team. As a qualified FCPA accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce, Chris has spent much of his career in senior financial roles within large not-for-profit organisations. Most recently, he served as Financial Controller for a local aged care provider, where he led strategic financial management for over eight years.

Born and raised in the Illawarra and now living in Fairy Meadow with his wife and two children, Chris is deeply rooted in the local community. Known for his reliable and personable approach, he’s passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals and prides himself on building strong, trusted relationships with every client.

Josie is our Client Services Officer at Shorebreak Finance, bringing with her a wealth of experience in banking and agribusiness. Having moved to Berry nearly 10 years ago, she now calls the region home, living on a local dairy farm with her husband and two children.

She spent 10 years working in agribusiness and commercial lending at two major Australian banks, supporting primary producers and rural businesses with tailored financial solutions. More recently, Josie held a farmer relations role within the dairy industry, further deepening her connection to the agricultural sector and her understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by local dairy farmers.

Josie is passionate about building strong relationships and is always happy to have a chat with clients to help them feel informed and supported throughout their financial journey. Her down-to-earth approach and industry knowledge make her a valued part of the Shorebreak team.

Outside of work, Josie enjoys spending time with her family, whether it’s relaxing at the beach or getting stuck into farm life.
